 Config File Setup - Media

Brandy's rant Scene 1: Intro - Brandy and Jatoten introduce themselves and the episode's subject matter.
Version 1.1 - 12/9/2K - Added voice track, and adjusted A:M choreography to accommodate it. (2 min, 3 secs - 13.1 megs, 3.7 zipped)
Version 0.1 - 10/16/2K - First draft release. (1 min, 49 secs - 2.0 megs)

A sarge and his private Scene 2: Fatal Error - A sniper learns the hard way what can happen when you play unprepared.
Version 1.1 - 12/9/2K - Re-rendered the A:M choreography without the toon lines. I would have applied antialias to it if I didn't have to wait 15 fucking hours for the movie to render, so I settled for a non-antialias version which only took me a little over three hours to render. Oh yeah, and the voices are in too. (25 secs - 4.6 megs, 2.7 zipped)
Version 0.1 - 10/16/2K - The three models in this movie are not mine; I borrowed them from the Animation: Master CD library. I plan to replace them with original models in a later stage in the episode's development. If the weapons look familiar, it's because the sniper's rifle and machine-gun are from Brandy Hothiegh's VWEP, and the sarge's mini-chaingun is one of Chuckie Finster's weapons. (20 secs - 2.3 megs)

Express elevator - Station Alpha Scene 3: Initial Setup - Our two hosts guide you through the first steps of the setup of your controls.
Version 1.1 - 12/9/2K - I had to adjust the scene's A:M choreography to fit the voice track in Part 3, and doing so made the scene 17 seconds longer. However, cropping the video to fit the audio in Part 2 cut nearly 30 seconds from the scene. The new 5 second splash at the beginning of the scene brought its length back over the 3 minute mark. (3 min, 1 sec - 18.8 megs, 4.6 zipped)
Version 0.1 - 10/16/2K - First draft release. (3 min, 8 secs - 3.0 megs)

Hey, keyboard for brains! Down here! Scene 4: Gang Rape - A typical day in the life of a keyboarder.
Part 2 - Version 0.1 - 2/18/2001 - The humiliation continues in Part 2 of Gang Rape. Again, my Tony Toponi and Chuckie Finster models are the stand-in stars. (33 secs - 3.5 megs)
Part 1 - Version 0.1 - 10/21/2K - I'm using my Tony Toponi and Chuckie Finster models as two of the stand-ins. The other two are Oaf and Josh from the AM2000 library CD. All four will eventually be replaced by better extra models. (42 secs - 2.0 megs)

What was the subject again? Scene 5: Examples - Brandy and Jatoten share a few of their control settings.
Version 1.1 - 12/20/2K - As I was adding the voices of the show's two hosts to this scene, I cut several bits and pieces from the video track in order to fit the new voice track. I also decided that first line of Part 4 was better off as the last line of Part 3. As a result of all these upgrades, Scene 5 is now 49 seconds shorter than it was as a draft. (3 min, 31 secs - 24.1 megs, 7.7 zipped)
Version 0.1 - 11/1/2K - First draft release. (4 min, 20 secs - 7.8 megs)

The stuff that makes your controls tick Scene 6: Advanced Setup - Our two hosts go deeper into the art of config files as they guide you through the Wordpad setup.
Version 1.1 - 1/7/2001 - I found a minor error in one of Brandy's voice tracks as I was editing this scene. It turns out that where Brandy was supposed to mention the 'A' key, she said 'E' instead. It was a script error on my part, and not the fault of Jennifer, who did Brandy's voice. I fixed the error by using an 'a' syllable from elsewhere in the scene, so that part of the scene sounds a bit rocky. Also, In order to stay within my self-imposed 10 meg limit on the size of the zip, I've cut the quality of the sound down to 11025Hz from its original 44100Hz, so I'd like to apologize in advance for its pisspoor quality. (3 min, 57 secs - 13.3 megs, 9.0 zipped)
Version 0.1 - 11/24/2K - First draft release. (4 min, 28 secs - 7.2 megs)

The stuff that makes your controls tick Scene 7: Aliases - In this final scene, Brandy and Jatoten introduce a few examples of Quake 2's aliases, and demonstrate their usefulness.
Version 1.1 - 1/9/2001 - And now, the last of the draft scenes of Config File Setup has been upgraded to 'release' status. I also changed the color of the text in the console window, as well as the design of the console window itself. The font of the console window text is now Verdana, instead of Nosferatu. As a result, the text in the console window is now a hell of a lot easier to read. (2 min, 53 secs - 18.4 megs, 4.6 zipped)
Version 0.1 - 12/9/2K - Some of the text is barely legible, but I hope to fix this problem during future upgrades. (2 min, 57 secs - 3.0 megs)
